Reflection: While there are many unknowns, we know that science is advancing more rapidly than ever! That gives us all a hopeful heart, that many of these issues may one day be cured, perhaps within the next several years! However, that fact does not release us from our own personal responsibilities in the here and now, and we all have an important obligation to all of our EBD and other special needs students to work with them and what we have.
No pill (not yet anyway) is going to fix violence in the home, etc., but we as educators can watch for the warning signs, and help make things right!
